The Haida Brave is 121.39 meters long, 25.35 meters wide and has a draught of 6 meters. Designed to travel at 12 knots they are constantly on the move transporting loads of 12,000 cubic meters of felled trees at a time. Imagine each load as 400 logging trucks, or 12,000 telephone poles -- trees taken from the forested valleys and hills of Haida Gwaii, homeland of the Haida Nation.
